Choose the workflow, not a picture-quality ranking.
Both support 4K video inputs. Changing the controller does not change your wall's physical pixel count. MX40 Pro is a capable COEX controller in its own right; a larger controller is not automatically a better-looking picture.
Capacity and supported features depend on frame rate, bit depth, receiving cards and system configuration. Office touch configurations include TU4K Pro.
MX40 Pro is not offered on the 205-inch CinemaScape wall at 0.9 mm pitch: its 5120 × 2160 pixels (about 11.06 million) exceed the MX40 Pro’s 9-million-pixel capacity, so that wall uses the included VX2000Pro (13-million-pixel capacity).
